Registration Overview
Registration for the 2024-25 season opened May 2, 2024!
General Information
SEERA Hockey uses the Hockey Canada Registry portal (aka HCR 3.0 Spordle) to manage player registrations. If you are new to SEERA Hockey, please follow the New Player guidelines below to complete your registration. If you are a returning player, check your inbox for instructions, and proceed to Returning Players guidelines.
- All new and returning players will register online for the 2024-25 season.
- For players transferring from another association, please contact registrar Kerri Bishop for registration information.
- All families are required to have a valid (not expired) Respect in Sport Parent course on file. New families will need to complete this course prior to the season. When registering for the course, please select "SEERA Hockey" as the association when entering the player information.
If your player will be trying out for MLAC (or other Club team) this season, please refer to the Club Tryout Registration information.
Returning Players
For players returning to SEERA Hockey for the upcoming season, please check your inbox for an email with instructions to register online.
New players
- All new players must first create an account in the HCR 3.0 Spordle portal to complete your registration.
- We will require documentation to confirm the player's age and residency. You will be asked to upload the following to the player's HCR 3.0 Spordle account under documents:
- Alberta Health Care
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- Proof Of Residency - Current Utility Bill : Name/Address portion only.
- The registrar will send an email requesting this information or you can email in advance to seeraadmin@shaw.ca.
Transferring Players:
For players transferring from another association
- Complete the Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form
- The form requires three proofs of residency to be attached.
- Please use seeraadmin@shaw.ca in the "Minor Hockey Association Submission" field

Payment Options:
- EFT / e-transfer: Directions can be located on the invoice upon checkout
- Credit Card: Visa/Mastercard/Visa Debit
- Payment Plan: The option to use a payment plan will appear in the online registration upon check out.
- Vouchers: Vouchers earned through your Community League or Millwoods/SEERA Hockey volunteer activities (bingo, casinos or 50/50) can be used for registration to pay for your player's hockey fees.
- Please mail your vouchers to Kerri Bishop in advance via Canada Post mail, to the address listed below, before you begin the online registration process. An email will be sent once Kerri has confirmed receipt of the vouchers. The remaining balance owing for your player's fees will be shown during checkout of the online registration process. No change provided.

- Please include the player's name, your name and email when mailing the vouchers.
Please Note:
- A $35 NSF Charge will be administered to all returned cheques.
- A $75.00 administration fee will be assessed to all approved refunds. See refund policy.
- If you select a payment plan and miss the payment due date a late fee of $50.00 will be assessed each payment missed. Make arrangements with the administrator to avoid this.
