U15 Evaluations - Director's Message

Dear U15 SEERA Hockey Players and Parents,

Thank-you for registering for the U15 SEERA Hockey season. We're thrilled to have you on board and can't wait to get started! We wanted to share some important information with you, please review the below.

Team Formation Skates

Our team formation skates will begin after the September long weekend, with the first sessions happening on Tuesday, September 3rd. This year, we're streamlining the process to ensure we are finished earlier than last season. This allows us to give players and coaches a head start on preparation. Please note that these initial rosters will be considered "practice rosters" and will not be 100% finalized until late September, well before the start of tiering round games on October 12. This brief window will enable any necessary adjustments before the season gets underway.

Team Snap

New for this year, SEERA has signed up with TeamSnap to manage the entire season including team formation skates. As skate times are assigned you will see them in your TeamSnap calendars and receive notifications. We have also revamped the website which is full of useful information.

Coaching Opportunities

Important U15 Considerations

As you move into the U15 tier, there are a few things to keep in mind:

North SEERA and Millwoods are combined in U15, which means new faces and opportunities to make new friends.
U15 features both body contact and non-body contact tiers. If you'd like to opt out of body contact, and didn't make that note on your registration, please email me at u15@seerahockey.ca. Please note that due to EFHL tiering rules, we can only submit a limited number of teams for body contact divisions, so some players who would prefer body contact may be placed on a non-contact team. Roster spots are determined through the team formation process.
