SEERA Bingos

Overview

Working bingos throughout the year is a source of funding for SEERA Hockey and our families. Members who work bingos earn vouchers that can be used to offset expenses for their players, including registration fees, camp fees, and team seed money.

Families who play SEERA, North SEERA or Millwoods Hockey are welcome to reach out to the Gaming Director to request information on how to sign up for bingos. Graduating players to club teams can continue to work bingo, as can our Alumni, but take a lower priority than current active members.

You can see available bingos in the schedule below. If a particular event shows as "Assigned", you can still request that event because we do get cancellations and when that happens, we need to call in replacements.

Signing Up

If you are new to SEERA bingos, please provide the following information in your email:

  • ​​Cell, with carrier (Bell, Telus, etc.) and/or Home Phone Number
  • Association, that your children plays hockey for: SEERA, Millwoods , or North SEERA

Notes:

  • Carrier information is required so that SMS texts can be sent from a computer for last minute bingos.
  • ​Minimum age to work a bingo is 18 as set by Alberta Gaming.

Important Shift Information:

  • Volunteers are required to be at the Bingo Hall by 10:30 am (done by 3:45pm) for matinee bingos and 4:30 pm (done by 9:45 pm for a couple workers and 11:45 pm for rest) for evening late night bingos.
  • You get a half-hour break time. If you want first pick at the break times, get there a little earlier.

Concession Allowance:

  • $16.00 for Afternoon bingos - 10:30 am - 3:45 pm
  • $16.00 for Evening - 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
  • $19.00 for Evening plus Late Night - 4:30 pm - midnight
