Hi U15 Players and Families!     

Thank you for those who have registered already, and for joining in the shinny skates. Next up are evaluations, and there are a few important details to take care of. 

Body Checking Preferences
We would like to know which players have a desire to participate in body checking hockey. If you have not yet received the link to the body contact spreadsheet, please email me at u15@seerashockey.ca with their preference, or request the link to update their preference directly.

Additional Body Checking info:

• The league consists of 3 tiers of body checking then 3 tiers of non-body checking. Players who desire to participate in body checking must still evaluate in the top 3 tiers. If your player does not evaluate in the top 3 tiers, they will play non-body checking. Those players who make non-body checking tier 1 will be able to opt-in for affiliation to a tier 3 body checking team. 
• If your player is not yet sure whether they want to opt-in for body checking, that's ok. Players do not have to make their final commitment until later in the evaluation process. Please do let me know once your player's final preference has been decided as that will assist with planning.

Positions
If you have not yet confirmed your player's preferred position (defense / forward), please email me at u15@seerashockey.ca with their preference, or confirm their choice on the body contact spreadsheet directly. There is currently a shortage of players who have a preference to play Defence, so please email me to let me know if your player would like to play D. 

Evaluation Volunteers
Do you want to help with evals on Sunday Sept 10th?  Please email me for the evaluator signup sheet link. There are still a couple of more evaluator and on-ice support positions to fill, so please consider joining the evaluation crew. 

Head Coaches
Coaches are crucial for a successful season (which means more than just the standings) and we are still in need of Head Coaches.
Have you considered taking on a Head Coach role this season?
Maybe you are interested, but have a few questions?

Evaluations Ice Times
Please note that everyone will have a skate time on Sept 10th, with exact times for each player to be released after the long weekend. Please refer to the U15 Evaluation Ice Time list for all the potential evaluation skate ice times. Your player will particpate in some, but not all, of these ice times. As we progress through each evaluation round, player groups will be updated here on the website. Please remember to check back often for updates. I trust this list of potential ice times helps you with planning your schedules.
